As an AIX System Administrator I was hired by IBM China Software Developing Laboratory for the last three years, I work in the environment team, responsible for design, implementation and maintenance the development and testing environment for the whole IBM DB2 Federation System project. I also have five years of working experience as a system engineer in China National Software & Service Company.
I have a Master’s degree in Software Engineering from Graduate University of the Chinese Academy of Science and a Bachelor’s degree in Automatic Control from Beijing Institute of Technology.
I think I’m a good candidate for your project because:
- I have 8 years of working experience in IT industry and more than 5 years of experience on AIX system administration. My former working experience give me outstanding problem solving skills to handle rapidly changing schedules and shifting work priorities.
- I was involved in the DEV&QA environment design and implementation for DB2 Federation System project at IBM CSDL. This environment is complicated, implemented by using the virtualizaton technology like LPAR, Vmware Infrasturction, there are more than 60 servers in the whole environment and including most of the popular UNIX, Linux and Windows platforms.
- I’m IBM Certified System Administrator (AIX 6.1 Administration), I have a strong understanding of AIX and solid system administration skills.
- As a good team player and quick learner, I can learn new skills quickly and develop useful expertise to produce significan contributions.
- I have excellent communication skills and a lot of experiences in customer service.
